Make your excuses and leave: unproductive meetings cost the UK economy £582 million a week

With many UK companies fearing that the economy will take a hit after Brexit, office technology specialist Altodigital has looked into how firms can become more productive and save money. The answer… meetings.

Research commissioned by Altodigital has revealed that over-run meetings cost the UK economy a staggering £582 million a week*, with 95% of those questioned admitting that they have meetings that regularly overrun, and more than half (53%) agreeing that some meetings they attend could definitely have been conducted more efficiently.

1,000 office workers from a range of sectors across the UK were questioned to help office technology specialists Altodigital better understand how workplace meetings can be adapted and made more efficient to increase productivity.
